ELECTION NEWS                                                                     Posted: 3-21-2012

This is a very important election year. Voters will elect a President on November 6th along with many other important local races on the ballot. Please take a moment to be sure that your voter registration information is accurate and up to date. The last day to register to vote before the November election is October 9, 2012.

Although the City has no candidates on the ballot this election, there are several proposed changes to the City Charter for voters to decide on. The main change is to move elections for City Council positions from odd years to even years. This change will save you, the taxpayer, a considerable amount of money by sharing the ballot with other important races.
