A twenty year resident of Orange City, Tom and wife Gail have five children. Active in City government, Tom has served on several Boards including the Orange City Planning and Zoning Commission. He is also an advisor to the Orange City Police Explorers and Chairman of his neighborhood watch group.

Tom attended Southern Ill. University on an Athletic Scholarship. He has had a varied and interesting work history which includes seven years of Professional Football, flying airplanes in Alaska, and twenty five years as a sales oriented business owner. Tom currently does home remodeling in Orange City and the surrounding area.
